The aircraft originally flew with a G-38... Very "scale-like." The aircraft was stripped, nacelles and new landing gear were added along with an aluminum tube carry through, new vertical fins (three of them), autopilot (waypoint navigation, flight stabilization), pan and tilt camera mount, video telemetry to ground, separate control system for "sensor operator." Twin DLE-30's with prop sync system pulls the aircraft around just fine and the fuel consumption at cruise probably allows flight times of close to two hours. I'm the guy on the right, while my former student Charles Taylor (did all of the electronics, power plant installation and covering of the beast) is on the left. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Dakota Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operations degree program. Photos taken from the North Country Model Controllers web page where he flew the aircraft at their fall fun fly. My thanks to them, a great club, for the photos.
