    Re: Batteries

    What is C?
The C of a battery is a unit measured in amps (per hour). 'C' essentially refers to the capacity of your battery. This is an important attribute of a battery to understand, because it is used by manufacturers to indicate the various performance metrics of a battery, such as the charge, discharge and burst discharge limits. Although 'C' is measured in amps, the capacity of batteries within the modelling fraternity are commonly measured in milli-amps (or more specifically, milliamperes). 1 amp is the equivalent of 1000 milliamps. For a 2500mah battery then C would be equal to 2.5 (2500/1000).

    Hope this helps,
