    What are these for?

    What are the small carbon rods used for that come in the ST Plus parts bag? The 4 rods in front of the small hinges in picture below....

    We found out that those are used to secure the motor mount. When the motor mount is inserted into the firewall, you can slide the carbon pins in sideways from the back of the firewall. That way, even if the glue comes loose, the motor mount will not go anywhere.

    I see where you can insert the pins....however, the motor mount on the ST Plus slides into guides and then is bolted to the fuselage....not glued. If you follow the instructions and bolt the firewall in place....how do you use these rods?

    They really aren't needed at that point. Just an extra safety measure.
