Another day more J-5 wing stress testing...

    eRC J-5
I cropped this video and flew closer to the ground to get a better visual on the plane with the 28mm ContourHD lens.
At 42 seconds, watch for a couple of rolls in a dive with with full aileron and rudder.
I'm using the audio from a keychain camera mounted on the cowling to get the "screaming" effects of the brushless motor.

... and flight #44 - this may be a beginner plane but check out the speed at the 1:00 minute mark.
Note, I toasted my 7.4v ESC yesterday, so I'm using 11.1 today with 3 cell batteries (performance is about the same).

Flight #50; I cut the throttle to land and you can hear the servos working; 808 camera is mounted in the cockpit where the pilot would sit.

Nice! Did you ever fly it as a 3 channel? How hard was it to learn how to fly with 4?

My first four flights were with 3 channels; I was flying the PZ T-28 Trojan (ultra micro 4 channel) without too many problems so I decided to enable the ailerons.
I had crashed the J-5 on my 3rd flight attempt (pilot error) and I wanted to try it with ailerons before I totally destroyed the plane and never got the chance.
I don't remember a drastic change to the aircraft. It flew with basically the same feel. I've never crashed the plane with the ailerons enabled (ugly landings don't count).
I'm now 30 flights past that crash...

How hard is it? If you can fly a warplane (T-28, P51D, P47) on a simulator you'll be able to handle the J-5 with ailerons.
