    ERC MUSTANG GEARS

I had a slight crash and no damage except my prop gears do not touch. Anyone have a fix?

    Re: ERC MUSTANG GEARS

Are the gears just out of align where one is in front of the other or the shaft
has a lot of end play.
If so the P51 thread on this forum has instructions on how to take out the motor and
you can push the gear back into postition on the shaft or the retainer collar at the back
of the shaft back into position.
If the gears are out of align where they are pulled away from each other laterally you
may have broken the plastic housing and you will need to buy a replacement motor assembly.
That is listed in our parts for the model.

I removed motor assembly and found the motor was glued in crooked. Both shafts are stright. I can not un glue motor from mount. Clearly the shaft is stright and is not connecting because the motor was not glued in stright to start with. I ordered this on the 26th July order # 54947-100726.

Give call to Hobby Lobby tech support and tell Robert what you have.

I am sorry but I am out of pocket for a few weeks and can't help you directly.
I have no access to the systems at HL.

I was told by Robert at customer service that he would send me a replacement gear assembly. That was two weeks ago. Still no replacement. Why?
