    erc receiver servo board...

    Hi, there again!!

Just received my two new eRC receiver servo boards and motors for my other projects. However they don't give instructions on how to connect the motor to the receiver(This may be very obvious for many but I am a rookie and I don't want to burn out anything here!!) and also how to bind the new setup to my existing eRC P-51 Ridge runner Transmitter.

Also 1-can I connect Any micro servo to this board or should I purchase a specific one?
2-What type of music wire should I use for the control rods?
3-How could I make this link adjustable?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Please advise if possible in step by step instructions on how to use this micro marvels in my other two projects (A Grumman American AA-1B TR-2 and a micro scale Shoestring).

    Again, many thanks

    Re: erc receiver servo board...

I have an issue as we have done NO experimentation with this board at all.
So I can only hazard some opinions and guesses.
We do not really mean for the board to be purchased and used for application other than a replacement
for a defective board in the Spitfire or P-51.
As we discussed earlier in another thread you are doing what a modeler experimenter does when'
coming up with a new application for a stock piece of model.

I imagine that any micro servo will plug into the socket. The way servos are wired if you plug it in backwards it
should not harm it, so try both ways.
I do not know what you mean about hooking the motor to the receiver. There is a two wire connector that comes
out of the board and that is meant to plug into the motor. If it turns the wrong way just reverse the connection.

The binding instructions are in the instruction manual for the P-51 or Spitfire instructions.
    top of page 3.

On the control rods, I do not experiment with micro models, take a look at the Micro RC models informatioin
on in the discussions threards for them.

Here is another link for a good resource for micro models and his link page.

This should give you more resources to find the information you need.
