    Senior Telemaster wing rubber bands

Hi! I'm assembling my new Senior Telemaster. The manual doesn't mention the rubber bands for wing attachment. I've figured out that it should use #67 bands probably, maybe #64's tied together for length, but how many?

What does Hobby Lobby recommend for rubber bands and how many?

    Thanks

    Cliff

You are right it is #67 bands.
Here are the one's we use and sell:
Special Blue Rubber bands, 1/4 lb.Rubber Bands for Wing and Landing Gear hold-on...Product# RUB018Price: $2.50

Use at least 5 per side.
I put on that many and then pick the plane up by the wings and shake it, if I feel the fuselage bumping against the wing
I put some more bands on.

Best suggestion is if you are flying with fuel, throw the bands away after each flying session as they will loose their tension from the sun and fuel.
    I hope this helps you.

Thanks Jay. I'm making the Senior Telemaster electric by the way. That sure is a large wing and airplane. Quite a contrast to the Micro Telemaster on the rack above it in the basement.

A real case of Mutt and Jeff.
If you might know or remember those comparisons.
I bet you love the way it flys.
Bigger in this case is always better.
But then it seems that it flys slower, but not really.
    Great to hear.

Well, I haven't flown the Senior Telemaster yet. The Micro Telemaster is an amazing little plane. After a couple hundred flights, it still amazes me with its ability to fly very slow. My greatest joy comes from flying 2 to 4 feet above the ground and flying between the trees beside my house. Relaxing and kind of thrilling at the same time.

    Cliff,

Better make sure the trees are way apart when doing that with the Senior! ;)
